I worked in an office with a cafeteria used to serve them for a weekly lunch special with your choice of meat, sauce, veggies, and cheese toppings that you tell the cooks at the counter to add as you walk down the line. A very heavy meal enough for many in the company demand a long siesta break in the afternoon.

Very tempted to order "rotees in sauce" but I went with the full "rotelle" name with specific sauce (marinara, alfredo, what have you) so I won't delay the line behind me.

To this day, I enjoy "rotees in sauce" every few weeks...
