What's the story on the scar? ...this is the first time I've noticed it...despite it being on all of his pictures.

I have the scar IRL. I was born with Pyloric Stenosis, which meant my large intestine's opening was fused shut and I was unable to digest.
So as an infant, they cut open the intestine so I was able to accept food. I can now live a normal life, but I do get tummy troubles quite often.
The scar was supposed to go away, but it never did. It just moved up me as I got older.

Heh, I was born with Chronic Pancreatitus. I wasn't able to digest food either, and I got 6 scars from it (5 small 1 big.) I also get frequent tummy troubles. But the main difference here is that mine started to affect me when I was in kindergarten.

I was born with Hypo Gastrointestinal Dysmorphia and also wasn't able to digest food. I got 17 scars from it one of which is so big it's a complete ring around my abdomen. I frequently vomit food that is less digested than when I swallowed it.

I have a scar just ever so slightly above my navel. I was told the same, that it would fade with time, but it's pretty daggone prominent! I had a blockage in my small intestine so that section was removed. This was as a baby just like Jijix and I still have the tummy troubles at the age of 22. I was deemed terminal before and after the surgery, but well here I am.

Infact I'm supposed to be dead about 4 times over by now, yet I'm not. Wow. More info is available for the asking.
