Trans girl here, and every "he", "his" and "sir" thrown my way does hurt, even if it's unintentional. When people know and do it anyways, it's so much worse.

Transition and life has been alright so far. I happen to have a supportive family and friends for the most part. I face challenges, get misgendered and stared at, but sometimes I feel guilty about not having it as difficult as others. Then I realize that instead of shrouding my joy and happiness out of guilt, I should shine all the brighter for those who need it.

Feel free to vent to me if you need it. We'll stay strong together. :)

We've got an RL bud who deals with this same situation. I, personally, can't understand or even come close to comprehending the predisposed hatred towards those who are going through this. Especially from family... especially from parents.

Just keep staying true to yourself. The rest of the world will catch up, in time.

When people gender others based on body parts like that I love to ask them if the women who have lost their breasts to cancer or major injury are no longer women, if the men with gynecomastia are not men, if women who have hysterectomies are not women, if men who lose their testicles are not men...the list goes on. I understand anybody can decide about their bodies, if you born A and you decide to transform you into B it's completely fine to me... But, you still being A-B more genetically A but social/legal/mental/anatomically B. It's fine.
But, you can't be "other kind of thing" it's not just biologically impossible, but it's hilarious.

And I'm ok with LGBT, but just them. Not all of the "Alphabet Crew".

Nonbinary, plain and simple. I tried being female most of my life and always felt wrong, then I tried being male a few years and still felt off, so I've been trying this nonbinary thing and feel comfortable for the first time in my life.

Now, biologically impossible...have you ever taken a biology class? College grad with a bachelor's of biology here, the concept of "biological sex" is bullshit according to modern science. There is so much more than XX and XY...like X (turner's syndrome), XXY (Klinefelter), and all the other types of intersex folks who can even have "normal" sex chromosomes and still end up somewhere in the middle due to naturally abnormal hormone levels. Not to mention the cases of chimerism, where a person is born literally split down the middle (half male, half female).

How would your "A/B" model define them? Tell them to pick a side? Well then I'd advise you to look into the countless studies where doctors did just that...they mutilated babies' genitals and caused SEVERE mental trauma (even suicide) in their patients. During my research I couldn't find a single case where a kid was "reassigned" and they turned out okay, best case scenario was learning to live with horrible scars. So again, in modern theory and practice, biological sex is nonsense.

On to your "Alphabet Crew" comment, the T you mentioned in LGBT includes nonbinary, that's what the white in the trans flag is for. So you aren't fine with LGBT folks, even without the added identities. The "alphabet crew" was added by the LGBT community to include people who have been with us for decades, like asexuals (A) and intersex folks (I), and to acknowledge how the community is ever changing and growing. WE made that choice, so if you aren't fine with it, you aren't okay with this community.

Learn to accept that more and more identities are being added as people feel safe to come forward with who they are, or fuck off. You either accept all of us or get out, we don't need close-minded bigots pretending to care about us for brownie points.
