These are pretty darn cool, but... Can you legally sell them? I mean, the Pokémon are all copyrighted and whatnot... Wouldn't that result in some sort of legal problem?

A aggressive or motivated enough lawyer could theoretically make a killing at any anime con on the face of the planet (though most of the people there are dirt poor XD.) There are people there selling hand done fanart cards, artwork, prints, buttons, sculptures, doujinshis and other novelties for every facet of anime and games under the sun. Even on DA, you can buy prints of fanart. :/ From what I've seen, the japanese companies don't much care and treat it as free advertisement for them. I even went to one con and sold a couple of FMA prints to the guy who created the series. O.o I Didn't know it was him though until after someone pointed it out to me. XD Anyways, Its not like I'm printing off millions of these cards and selling them en masse through the internet and stores like Target or WalMart. Then yeah, that's be worth notice and I'd get the pants sued off me I bet. XD I'm not making forgeries of an existing product like the bootleg figures or illegal copies of games, which is most of what Nintendo gets up in arms about. I even know a girl who sells fan-pokemon plushes on ebay for hundreds of dollars and never seems to get hassled. o.O Either way, if they ever become an issue I will immediately take them down and not sell them anymore. I'd rather not get sued, believe it or not. XD
