Police and their paperwork-- something that to this day isn't depicted very often in fictional works as part of the job.

I like that in the commentary for the film Hot Fuzz, the creators of the film mentioned that actual police praised them for depicting that dull part of the job.

Call me crazy, but I think I'm starting to enjoy these "office antics" stories of the ZPD even more than the one's about Nick and Judy's intimate life at home.

oh good point. Most shows with cops have them saying "I don't want to have deal with the paperwork" and its many variations but they never show the paperwork process.
