I so love how you build on the movie's premise that the evolved animal species actually have differences (unlike Disney's Robin Hood) and the relationship between them is complicated and takes effort. It makes for some really good world building.

i am mildly obsessed with that ish, i have a tendency to get really invested in side characters, lol

It's funny in a way.
In comics by furry fans that was very often a thing, different animal traits etc. causing bumps in modern life, yet I think Disney when they dropped this movie, they kind of did it better than most furries had done up to date.

Hell, even the names are more creative and fun. Fangmeyer had been called Woolfe or something in a standard furry webcomic.

It's like they picked it up and knocked it out of the park. They beat the furries in their own game.
