These brothers are faerie folk that were kidnapped as babies. Not related by blood Maxwell the Thunder Wolf was son of the Royal Guard Captain. Elliot the prince of the same nation was also taken by the same human hunters. These humans were both devious and cunning had wanted to raise the children into anti-fae weapons, however before their plans paid off they vanished from the brothers lives. Maxwell's mind was rather warped by his "parents" method of raising children and he didn't trust anyone other than his brother. He over zealously protects young Elliot from all harm, including their own parents scouts and soldiers who have entered the human world to reclaim them.
