This is the actual scan from the Website where I found my old 1976 drawing. Earlier, I posted the file adjusted to greyscale that is more like the original art. This, however, is exactly what the fans who saw this are would have seen. It was printed on a page of cheap brownish paper, with obvious fibres embedded in it. The paper is sometimes called twiltone or fibretone, as was deliberately fuzzy and absorbent for printing at home or office on a mimeograph machine. The inks used were pasty, oily and thick, and would take several seconds to dry, so absorbent paper such as this was almost mandatory. Otherwise a ghost of the previous sheet would transfer to the new sheet coming out of the mimeograph "printer."
