So I wasn't going to post this because I messed up a bunch of stuff on it and in addition the paint colours were not cooperating at all, and so I was feeling defeated and grumpy at him. However, I listened to that darn Zootopia song too many times today and realized Gazelle would be disappointed in me if I didn't. So here he is.

Yeah, and that too. It's comforting to realize that everyone makes mistakes, everyone has insecurities about their art and everyone has to learn the hard way through all of this... no matter how long you've been doing it, or whatever skill level you are at, there is no avoiding that. ;]
That's very true, and it's the people that continue to always try their best and keep going in spite of the negatives that will continue to grow in skill. And trying to make new things is always a win-win situation the way I see it, because it'll either turn out as a success which needs no explanation, or you fail and gain the knowledge of what you did wrong but get to better yourself through it.
This, fellow artist, is what we're all susceptible to.
All of us. Painters, drawers, writers, composers, sculptors... all us artist-types.
We are all our own very worst and most critical... well, critics. Its perfectly natural to feel this way, believe me.
You see bullcrap - we see brilliance.
By all means, keep it up! Know that even the suckiest artwork usually tends to be the best, even if its purely by accident.
