
I think I've found the direction I want to go with this. Thank you for everyone that submitted ideas and feedback in the last post. Waking up to 60 comments was quite a read, but worth it to start planning out the direction the game should head in. Not much to reveal right now beyond some teaser sprites (that have already been put in the game for people to see.) With the new character getting her introduction likely in the next large update. She'll be focused on the upgrades and weapons. With the player character benefiting off anything that doesn't affect her directly.
Her body is a green energy that is normally covered with metal plates. She can also separate parts of her for the player to use as the shield.
Zureal's comment is what tipped me off to possibly head in that direction, and explain where the "orb" and shield came from. With a lot of feedback on items and upgrades being a good focus with the metroidvania spin the game already has going. I think she'll make a nice addition to the game once her powers are fully realized by the player ( at around the time you beat the first boss, the rat.)

Oh I see, it was like a "where is this game going" post. Personally I didn't see much of an issue in the direction, it's obviously very inspired by milia wars and that was both a good game and good for its content. I would have suggested more sexual attacks as well, such as the rats have, and the goat can do against enemies, since it already has the animation, it wouldnt be too much for it to also hump the player. The system itself of animation per single health decrease, plus all the easy pickups makes it so you can watch or skip animations as you see fit without too much worry, whether you are going for more gameplay or more erotica. Not like project x where they have long and drawn out animations per the same amount of health, but you have to sit there and watch it every time.
