So my newest skritter/sculpture is close to done now, following the Bull's completion. I do however need some opinions, please! This is my demon unicorn, otherwise known as 'Nope-icorn.' A possum skull serves as the base and the sculpting was done with super sculpy. He will get a real horse hair forelock (black) and pewter chain so he can be worn like a pendant. I still need to put the rest of his teeth in.

In your opinions: should he have a classic unicorn's beard as well as the forelock? The beard would be horsehair too. Should he have a forked tongue, pointed tongue or more horselike tongue? Should I have glossy blood running down the horn like he just gored someone? Or perhaps blood running between the bottom front teeth and 'dripping' from the chin? (probably just snacked on one of a young maiden who expected a different kind of unicorn to come to her in the woods.)

I also toyed with putting a few dark red sculpy roses clustered around the horn along with some green leaves and vines. Basically a bastardized twist on the pretty white fairytale unicorn....but if I went with the flowers I'd probably need to give him a white forelock instead for the best look, and I don't have any white horsehair.

He'll be for sale when finished. I'm just a little miffed that the fine hair details I etched into the skin didn't show up too well after painting. A fair amount of texturing was lost, sadly. :(
