Thanks! This wuff has a "thing" that even a fantasy world needs to be self-consistent, which implies some sort of rules (even if they're not as obvious as Vargr set them out in this saga). Putting those little historical bits in as fun! And wuff hopes it makes some readers go "Hm.... what if?..." and start dreaming up their own side stories. *smiles*

yeah, me too. Magic needs rules, otherwise... it's just not magic as we know it. The history is a great extra to a magic story, and the side stories, those are the most fun

Thank you for the kind words. And fear not, more chapters are in work. Wuff has a few segments in the "final draft and editing" stages. Trying to move the plot ahead after those has been a bit of a challenge though, but hopefully the Muse will return and lend more ideas there. *grins*

Thank you! Glad you're enjoying this one. If things play out as wuff suspects they will, this could well be one of the longest sagas Vargr's penned so far. Got the ending pretty well in place, but theres a lot of segments in between that still need writing. Luckily, there are one of two chapters already down and in the 'final draft/edit' phase, so should have a new offering posted sometime soon.
