Hahaha, this has gotta be one of my worst lineart attempts in a while! But, it's the first time I've ever drawn a groundhog, so I hope you can forgive me. :)

So, in case you can't tell, that's me, turned into a groundhog-dragon. Um... Dragondhog? ...Groundhogron? I dunno, but it looks like I'm about to find out why groundhogs are afraid of their shadows. I really like Groundhog Day, for some reason. Maybe it's 'cause it's pretty much the only animal national holiday. Could also be due to how the church I went to celebrate it every year. Good food during the event.

No gaming shirt for me this time. After how lousy I did with the rest of the lineart, I wasn't about to hide some game logo beneath my hands, there. Don't ask what the deal with the background is, either. Maybe it's an artificial backgrop. I am outside, though.

I finally found out the joy of using layers to color. Not sure if it quickens things, but it sure made coloring a lot easier, so I'm gonna continue to color as such. However, for now I decided to just sketch out the lineart like I have been. It really takes the fun out of drawing when I worry so much about how it looks, which is one reason why I've had this short inactivity these past couple weeks.
