Magma Armour, the name of a possessed armour that has taken on a body molten magma. Possessed armours are a type of spirit that inhabits a set of armour. The armour can not move on it's own so the spirit takes any relevant material in it's immediate environment to form a body for the armour. Most possessed armours use materials like water, dirt, clay, or even a corpse to form a body, but it is possible for armours to to use shards of hard materials like stone and metal if each individual piece is small enough. It is possible for people to wear possessed armours, but it's a really, really bad idea. The character in question would have to roll a strength check each turn to avoid the possessed armour from punching themselves in the groin or twisting their own head off.
This is a budget character commission for
sigmablack of his robotic character PDU-016. I was given artistic freedom on what to do with her so I made her into a set of armour with a body of magma. The magma effect did take a while to do but it was the most easiest and funniest part of the image - I had more trouble working out what to do for the glowy shiny bits of the armour. I'm not terribly pleased with the shine on the armour but everything else came out fantastic.
