Haha... yeah, I wanted to take my time on this... so I spent all my time on Rem and Manu to an extent... but then I was O shi- I got shit to do... and then I just kinda busted out all over this shit later. I was actually extremely suprised with how that table came out. I hardly had to go over it twice and it was done enough for me! hahahaha... sometimes you get lucky.

(there is a little easter egg in here though, Rem's hand rap is taken off... and that's an extremely rare and trusting thing for him... haw haw. It means Manu is his home slice!)

Rem is a very charasmatic character and people are his passion in life, for better or for worse, but it makes him a very natural story teller.

It's actually very crap drawn fire, haha... but I used a ref, I swear! XD

Haha... yeah... I know manu is kind of a pip squeek but she is actually a he, and that's his tail that he's holding and has rapped around him a bit... He lost his hair on his tail becuase Manu has a fatally sickness. :c

oy. dammit, normally I'm better at guessing genders... probably because "Manu" is short for "manuela" in german... sorry about that.

fire is very hard to draw I have found out. I tried once with markers, but it looks more like a spray of colours than anything.

I can tooootally see where you are coming from though... haha, no worries. It's hard enough trying to decern gender with animals anyways, and Manu is actually one of those characters that could be a bit ambiguous, especially when you don't get a clear look on him.

These are pretty much the effects I was going for, but not the refs I used.

ah, firepreathers... maybe more pronounced 'flares' can help with the fire effect? not sure... like I said, I failed, too.

of course, even where _I_ come from they spell firebreathers with a b. someone went and stoled my b, so I had to use a p. :P

Well, yeah, I know I failed a bit. I mean... I really didn't bother giving it my 100% since it was one of the last things I drew and I wanted to get this image over with. I even ignored the idea of maybe some spray coming from his mouth becuase I didn't want to deal with trying draw it. But it's magical fire though (he can produce small flames and is especially good at control it). It's the one supernatural talent Rem has aside from his spirit manipulation. So he doesn't actually need to blow flamables on it really.

This doesn't look rushed much at all! I love that theme! The textures and lighting/shadowing effect you portray here. This is such a wonderful illustration. Sorry if I sound cheesy, but it is!
