After posting images of invading space birdies and small rotund rodents let's returning to one my favorite past-times. Skunk watching. While Rosemary is not as obsessive about motor vehicles as say....Jessica http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1513033/ , she still likes cars. Here we see her rendition of the classic 1950's drive-in pin-up. Very American Graffiti.
With my growing interest in doing vehicle art, I'm rediscovering my interest for American Hot Rods and Muscle Cars. Growing up in the LA Basin in the 1970's and early 80's many of my memories are of hanging out at race-tracks, drag-strips, car shows, and garages. My father was very involved in the Hot Rod and Racing scene of the 1950's and 60's and for a few years he was a freelance photographer who worked off and on for Petersen Publications who published Hot Rod Magazine. This is probably where some my interest for drawing mechanical thingies comes from. I may do a color of this at some point. This was just a quickie sketch I did a couple nights ago after dinner.

Yeah the car I learned to drive in was a 1973 Gran Torino with a 351 Cleveland and 4-barrel on top. It had a hood the size of an aircraft carrier, and everytime I drove it I felt like I was in a Starsky and Hutch episode. Mind you at the time I did not consider that to be a bad thing.
