Not too long after being commissioned by  nambroth to do this piece, I was fortunate enough to take a trip down to the Redwoods National Forest in Northern California. While hiking through the old growth forests I took reference photos of interesting plants and lighting that I wanted to include in this picture. I had fun working those small details in, even if you can't even see them.

 Eldarath keeps the rain off of  Nambroths back. Both characters are © their owners.
