After several furmeets and Furry Fiesta, Rary was looking kind of ragged. His fur was matted, his mane was tangled, he had a few spots that he wasn't supposed to have, and he was beginning to smell a bit funky.

So I gave him the spa treatment. I soaked him in the shower, used some Woolite Delicate, gently cleaned him inside and out, put him on a vented shelf to dry, and used fans for air circulation. I gave him a good brushing every hour or so.

Now he's dry and looking good as new.

White fur is high maintenance. Long fur is high maintenance. White feetpaws are VERY high maintenance. I wish I had known those things when I first considered getting a fursuit costume.

But I wouldn't change any of that. I really like my character Rary. It's a blast getting out in the suit, and I'm looking for more opportunities.
