I had to draw this guy. He's big and strong and he's also such a refined, precious baby who must be loved. A big dragon who loves to read, is a brilliant military strategist, abolitionist (19th century), and presumably, he speaks with an English accent. Its really hard to make a more likeable character.
I drew in a background because it felt like he needed a sky to fly in. If the author sees this picture, I hope it makes her day a little happier, even if it's just for a second.
