That is in no small part due to the practical need for bathroom attendants to help with long hair and tails, handicaps, or awkward anatomies. It is the one place where necessity trumps modesty. Outlying worlds have robo-bidets and such for more private care, but Erma comes from a first generation world where hands-on personal service was SOP and gender was not an issue.
