So I did the Furnal Equinox art show this year, And since the print sold I can finally post it :3
This was pretty much inspired by Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. I was kind of doodling and my roommate
ether-drift point out that it was reminiscent of the album cover, so I went with it :3

Although this is backwards, I still love the piece.
Now, why I stated this was backwards is because it actually has now disconnected with the albums songs. If you ever seen the cover for Pink Floyd's ablum "Wish You Were Here", there are five pieces to it. First, the non-corrupted white border representing "Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Pts. 1-5". The clean suited, perfect man represents "Welcome to the Machine". Have a Cigar is shown as a handshake-- making a deal with the man who is not perfect-- to what is known as "corruption". Which leads us to "Wish You Were Here". The man who was once known as a perfect man has now taken form with the dark secrets and bad behaviour. The once perfect man is now "lost". And then lastly, you have the white border actually on fire. That bit of corruption has now affected everything. That shining diamond is now a distant past. "Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Pts. 6-9."
Anyways, it's a beautiful piece. I love it!
"And we'll bask in the shadow of yesterdays triumph, and sail on the steel breeze. Come on, you boy child. You winner and loser. Come on, you miner for truth and delusion, and shine!"
