Aries has arrived at the Masters' Games! She's gone to the Ultra Dome in Agloria, a country not unlike America, being a colonial power that achieved independence.
And we see our first Tengu! Tengu are a mostly isolationist people who live in three large city-states high in the mountains of three countries, Agloria, Volencia (Aries' home nation) and Rora. They tend to be supremacists, but not violently so. It usually simply manifests itself as smug indifference to the other races of Spira. They are highly advanced, but tend to keep to themselves. A few however, such as the fellow in the third panel, make a life for themselves among the others.
We also see Aries, in her civvies, gathered with other participants, having just taken part in the opening ceremonies and are introduced to the two hosts of the games!
