A little north of $20,000. There were a couple of GTIs I looked at with higher miles that were down in the $15,000s, but this was my color, I wanted the leather and the bulk of the factory warranty. What I can say, is that comparing it to my old car (my trusty 1995 Golf GL that got totaled) there is no contest. It's rock solid stable at 110 MPH, the torque off the line is fantastic, it's going 90 before it feels like it's going 55, everything about it is great. All the ltitle VW engineering touches are so fantastic. Maybe once I'm off the warranty I'll chip it to 210HP, but not yet. :D

The power of used! Actually sounds like you're not giving up anything at all due to it having a few miles on it already.

Some wear and tear, but that's never bothered me. I buy cars to use them, not so they can sit and be polished. :D

I learned after I bought my 1995 Golf, the dealer taught me XD I love my GTI, I've driven the hell out of it the past five years or so but I've been eyeing 2005/2006 Pontiac GTOs because 400hp sounds like a lot of fun *_*
