I was in a deep funk earlier today, nothing was turning out. So, I finally just did some character design to break me back into drawing. Luckily it worked, yay.

This is an older character (still missing a name). The core concept is a plus-size super heroine / pyromancer; catch being I wanted her to function as a legit hero. Went with flames since with the ability to fly she wouldn't necessarily have to worry about cardio and dieting (no running and she isn't one for hand-to-hand if she can help it). Other thing I had fun with is that I took a lot of her design cues from Dutch and Swiss traditional dresses ... hopefully it's subtle and not obtuse.

Any rate, if y'all are interested I'll whip up a full version of the lady. Until then, cheers!
