Ah and now it's done. I'm pleased~
So yeah, this is my main competitive team from ORAS. Man I just really love these guys. We've been through quite a few matches and although not perfect, the team has proved to be very efficient. Sometimes there's Aggron, sometimes there's Ampharos but either works just fine.
"Arlight" the Gliscor - Not your average Poison Heal
I got my idea for Arlight in XY and my husband bred her for me in his Black2 version as the moveset needed a couple of tutor moves. She has Jolly nature so unlike most Gliscors that are defensive she is the speedy type. With Taunt she makes other leads (and especially other Gliscors) useless and then proceeds to set up the rocks.
A sneaky girl with some offensive investment to show she's nothing to mess with.
"Reidu" the Arcanine - Stallier than you think
Reidu is the fire resist of the team and he too runs a slightly different set from normal. He has Intimidate but instead of being physically defensive he tanks on the special side. Inflicting burns and recovering with Morning Sun is his thing in addition to Roaring out all the pesky set-uppers.
He might look soft, but with Intimidate and burn to help against physical force and full special defensive investment keeps him alive for forever. This dog aint afraid of a couple of Scalds.
"Freiands" the Sylveon - Surpriiiise!
While the little Freiands admires Reidu for his instant recovery (she doesn't even have Wish, sob) and Pkebal for his intense bulk and poison immunity, she packs a punch too. Yes, I'm one of those people who use a physically defensive Sylveon with a heavy speed creep and offensive investment. A complicated set, but for a reason: One of her main jobs is to lure out the Scizors and Ferrothorns and kill them on the spot.
Yes, Hidden Power Fire.
That is all.
"F-22" the Staraptor - Glass cannonball
I got a shiny Staraptor named "F-22" from a friend but it was genned so I went and bred myself a legit one. Adamant nature and Choice Scarf - his only job is to jump in at a crucial time and get one or two swift kills and then either die to an attack or to recoil. Instead of Reckless to inbcrease hit damage he has Intimidate so that with Reidu's assistance the two can cripple any physical attacker in a very short time.
"OohIt'sASnake" the Serperior - "I could sweep a whole team just you wait"
This cheeky bastard. "Snake" is a Contrary sweeper and like Freiands he runs the Hidden Power Fire to get rid of pesky steel types. Thanks to that nieche and Glare he is not to be messed with in any circumstances.
Oh and he knows it. You can see it all over his face.
"Swood Guy" the Mega Ampharos - Speed? He'll show you speed!
Modest nature, full speed investment and an uneven split between special attack and HP. Agility lets him outspeed anything up to base 123 and that's when that base 165 sp.att starts to hit HARD. Swood Guy knows how fabulous he is so here I wanted to draw him a bit more dragon-like. He is half dragon after all!
"Pkebal" the Mega Aggron - Wrecking your shit whenever
Pkebal is a special guy. He is bred in my HeartGold to get access to a very rare move: Avalanche. Ice Punch is okay and all but nowhere strong enough to take down bulky Garchomps or Mega Salamence, but with Avalanche there is no competition: Pkebal wins 100% of the time against them.
Did you know an Impish Mega Aggron like Pkebal can take TWO Choice Band boosted Earthquakes from your typical Garchomp and LIVE? Two High Jump Kicks from Mega Lopunny are not enough to kill him and your Talonflame has to give four Flare Blitzes to take him down - if the bird can live a Stone Edge that is.
Is Mega Aggron amazing or what?
