I bought this plushie at Anthrocon, in either 2010 or 2011. It was sold by one of the vendors at the dealers room -- I can't remember her name -- but she basically had racks full of plushies with wings sewn on them. On a whim I decided to look for the silliest one I could find, and there he was, Derp Husky. He's been my convention mascot ever since.

At some point, his derpability reached critical mass, and he sprouted a unicorn horn, thus becoming the Princess of Derp. (Okay, more like I folded an index card, drew ridges on it with a Sharpie, and tied it between his ears with a twist tie :p)

I was just thinking about conventions of days past and how I miss Anthrocon and people on the east coast, and that's when I thought about this guy.

I'd really love to make a few east coast cons next year, if possible (definitely AC, maybe FWA).
