I have mocked up a fair amount of the gear I design. My real problem is that when I design a layout of gear for a character, I most often have much if not all the same stuff myself, and then have to work out where it'll go (web gear, equipment vest etc.) and how much the said character can haul. I am large and even though I am fat, I have a tremendous stamina and carrying capacity. My nickname in search and rescue was Halftrack. Slow, loaded, but always there with the goods.
