wolves do a lot of socializing during night runs, and if someone is running alone, there's a high chance they will be hit on. wolves don't necessarily have a lot of respect for phrases like boyfriend/girlfriend, but if someone says they have a mate, others tend to back off real quick. both male and female wolves all fall somewhere on the alpha-omega spectrum. the more alpha you are, the more you tend to fight, especially with other high-alphas, and you're likely to end up in leadership positions. the spectrum behavior is much more subtle when interacting with other species, and becomes more visible the more wolves are around. most couples, be they straight or queer, tend to mate with someone much higher or lower on the spectrum than themselves.
there are, however, some alpha-alpha and omega-omega couples. the latter tend to be pretty serene, and the former have really dramatic, explosive relationships. the spectrum tendencies are not set in stone and may vary a little bit depending on the situations, such as fangmeyer being more alpha at work and more omega at home.
