We made it all the way to Hell! And the very bottom of the world through a glitch - and all the way to the ocean on the left side where the world ends. We still gotta get spaceships and stuff though, we just got ponies. :O

I dunno! We started on hard mode but it was too hard, and then switched, but I think we switched back.

I have multiple worlds; normal worlds are best for progression, then once you're geared up go to the expert worlds for the rare drops and cool new boss drops. (Lots of rare things like the status immunity items have a higher drop rate on Expert.)

Confusingly there's two axes of difficulty: there's the normal/expert mode of the world, and there's the soft/medium/hardcore mode of the character. I've only ever played Softcore because Minecraft got me tired of dropping my items into lava.
