My first comission of my furry self. It's a bit outdated now, but the basics are still there. The tail is far shorted than it is now, and the coat has changed color and cut over the years.

Let's just say your character and Celesse fantastic art helped motivate me to draw and try my own hand at art, especially of the anthropomorphic variety. so I actually really want to thank you for inspiring me so much ^^

I know what you mean. The Arcy pic where he's waking up with light coming through the blinds is one of her best along with the couple of pics she did for my ex, Levin. He's actually the reason I commissioned her, seeing her work on his commissions.

I've idolized this for years too xD religiously. Nah not really, but embarrassingly enough my character became a sort of spin off of this one. I honestly couldn't resist. Orange eyes, no markings, purer dark fur, and without the horns, hair, or wings. Just a normal wolf character. There's one with just fur colors (fursona), and then one with the trench coat, magic, and a sword as well as glowing eyes. The silver hair's been in consideration, but the decision has never been finalized. I don't have any proper references yet, and I'm waiting to get a job before I do so >.> always wanted to get one though.

Well, I'm quite honored to me your passport into the craziness that is Furry. Feel free to make similar looks to mine, just don't claim the images of me as yours, or worse as your own work which infringe on the various artists I've commissioned ^^.
In all honesty, this look was in consideration for quite some time, long before I was even this creature. I had bounded around between a winged wolf, to a dragon, to a kitsune and never really had a true form for years until this idea came to me in 2002. The markings were in my head from various sources other than my own imagination. Bits of it I had seen in images from WhiteWolf gaming books and the artist Aesop Draftrider. It's alright if you look similar, but be sure it's a look that fits you firstly.

Sweet, thanks for your reception ^^ Originally I was an otter character, but it didn't really fit me as a person. This was before I even joined the fandom. After seeing Celesse's submission of this reference around 2004-2005 ish, I started to develop a black fox type of character. Except for a few qualities, this character seemed to fit me all too well. Even the main colors were appealing.
I wrote a story called the Winged Ones based on that character who was called Kasey Rockwood. The story itself was based on events with forum friends, Fate Stay Night, and a memorable flash called Nightmare City. It ended up being about 70 pages long. At the end, the black fox materialized red draconic wings on his back, then beat the crap out of the bad guy with magic and a blade in an epic city duel xD.
The species of foxes didn't seem to fit me completely though, at least not by personality. After reading Promise of the Wolves, I made the switch to a wolf type character, and even went as far as to make it feral. The book affected me deeply, and that was where I started making my therian connections to the wolf species.
I eventually got envious of anthro characters, and did away with being feral. I've been going on and off about the silver hair, but my personalized version of that character pretty much remained the same since then.
And don't worry, my character's not the exact same as yours. :) Whenever I think of my own fursona though, my mind automatically references Nanashi, with my personalized twist to it. Rest assured I will be careful when it comes to the credit and what belongs to whom.
