I have heard that artists are encouraged to use references for their drawings. Although it makes sense in a way, I also found it contradicting. Because I have found techniques to try and draw people or objects starting with simple shapes or a stick figure, and detailing from there. I don't recall both being used, at least at the same time, so I went with the idea that either one is fine. I rarely used references as much I ought to - and it shows. So I decided to go back to the drawing board, so to speak, and try to use references more diligently.
I was going to try this with Angel, but I decided to give her a break, and work on my other characters. Namely Iris, whom I haven't drawn for a almost half a year.
So here we have her Rope form. Iris becomes a cowgirl, in many ways, and has the ability to generate near-infinite rope. As to be expected, she also has a very rowdy personality. Stubborn as a cow and wild as a stallion, Iris' Rope form is an energetic force that can't be contained!
