Humans rarely can shoot a mile in length and that is with a high powered sniper rifle army issue. So I suppose if my character can make nearly three miles with a normal bow and arrow, (not composite bows which shoot farther and better than yew bows which in turn shoot farther and better than normal bos) I say no it is not bad but inhumanly exceptional.
