Kintaro is a powerful being of positive chi who made the mistake of trying to absorb a crystal charged with malignant energy in an attempt to cleanse it.

Sadly, it was a bit more potent than he was counting on and he went a little cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

At this point he started corrupting the feng shui of critical sites, tipping the balance of the world's chi. Fortunately the good guys caught up with him and subdued him, destroying the evil crystal in the process.
