Based on a trend going on DA and other online galleries. I don't know exactly where this started, so don't ask me. I rarely go for memes, but I just couldn't resist this one. The ones I've seen by other artists so far range about 3-5 years, so I figured I'd top everyone and show you a montage of almost 10 years of Ronnie Raccoon history, at the expense of lots of scrolling on your part. In fact if you're reading this, your mouse's scrolling wheel is already broken.
The first one, "Jet Pack Ronnie," is the oldest Ronnie Raccoon pic I ever scanned, I did it in watercolors when I was a sophomore. In high school. And yes, I have many even older ones, but I don't really fel like rummaging through my closet right now. What you see is the latest 9 years, but Ronnie's history ranges back to 1990. I might show some of them to you, if enough people demand me to, but I'd have to find and scan them first.
The second was a Cristmas design I did for a Commericial Art Class I took at a Vocational/Technical School
The third is a site-header from my first Ronnie site when I introduced him to the internet in 1999, on a furry site called skunked.com. Don't bother looking for it now, it disappeared years ago.
In 2001 I moved Ronnie Raccoon to Keenspace.com,* a free webcomic site where anyone can join and host their own web comic site. (*Keenspace has since changed its name to comicgenesis.com, and is still currently the host of RonnieRaccoon.com)
The 2002 pic is actually a panel from a strip, as it was the only decent Ronnie pic from that year. Production from me that year was pretty lean.
The 2005 pic is still heading my site right now. YES, I DO HAVE PLANS TO BRING BACK THE COMIC, OK? CHECK BACK IN THE FALL.
The final pic I just did yesterday.
One thing I noticed looking at all this is that despite my imrovements on how to draw Ronnie his actual design has barely changed at all. In fact, I think the only big change in his design came in 1996 when I gave him pants, yeah that's right, like the classic cartoons he was derived from, Ronnie Raccoon was a pantsless eunich. I also took away that wallet chain he wore in 2000, since that style died in the 90's anyway.
