My Great Niece's Wedding!
My great niece got married tonight to a BEAR of a guy. I am so happy for her!
It was an INTERESTING wedding inasmuch as I have not seen my brothers in 14 YEARS!! Only three out of us five showed up. I really was dreading it. I don't care much for this dysfunctional family of mine. However, they were truly surprised to see me and how well I looked. I introduced them to my HUSBAND MARK, which actually left them speechless. "My brother is Gay? He married another Man?!?" Well that's what usually happens when gays marry, unless you are a lesbian. Then you marry a woman. DUH.
Yep, they didn't know I was gay. SURPRISE, GUYS! There's actually TWO gay brothers in our family now that you know of!
I saw my Niece and Nephews and we had a rollicking good time. My great niece and her husband make such a cute couple. She's tall and wispy thin and, like I said, he's a huge, bearded bear of a man. I have not seen here since she was a little kid with braces and dorky glasses. What a beautiful, young lady she blossomed into!
Anyway, the bridal party had a beautiful, lesbian couple in it. They walked in with a groomsman between them. My Niece informed me that we would be right at home because many her daughter's friends are gay. LOL
It was such a nice wedding reception with LOTS of good food. After dancing for awhile we were informed by the DJ that there would be an Ice Cream and HOT DOG bar!!! MW was in heaven!!! I could not believe how he stuffed himself with hot dogs AFTER he had a great meal. The Ice cream bar was fantastic, but one scoop for me and my diabetes!
We found out that they has a Photo Booth in the back of the room!! You could go in there and take pictures with all sorts of props that were in there. So MW and I "dressed up" and took pictures. Then MW took the large, white board and drew us holding the pictures! Our page became the first page in the album. How many bridal couples can say that their Gay Uncle Artists drew for them, eh????
It was a great party and nice to see my Nieces and Nephews. My brothers left early. They missed all the excitement!

but yeah i get the drift of how it happens since well my family doesn't know me either. it's not exactly hiding anything more than not really running after them to share anything.
like i told you they don't even know for the Ursa's...so i can guess from where this came.
and well am very happy you had a great time at your niece's wedding hehe at least you are still invited by them for those events.
