This is an extremely poignant painting for me, I painted this to be a christmas present for my Mum and Dad, while I was staying at a place waiting to be allowed to move home...

I kept it hidden until it was time to show it, however. My mum became really ill and shortly after I moved home last December we found out she had pancreatic cancer and there was nothing we could do...

She managed to see the painting when she was brought home shortly before she passed... She liked the painting. I only wish she was still here to continue enjoying it... I miss her so much.
