And that's why RPGs have a rules system with dice rolls to determine if an attack works, so there's none of this "I pull this über spell out of my ass" style of god-modding that I see in free-form RPs.

I think he is more "aw shit" hysterical grin, because my fox and dragon don't seem concerned, the dragoness looks more like she wants to shove the spell book up the wizard's ass.
