the Mercury is the standard machine pistol of the 13th AIRguard, chambered in 9mm parabellum and with a 21 round mag standard and made from a mix of bergmann and c96 designs with an added front 'slab' to counter barrel rise and increase close quarters melee effectiveness though this is a side effect of its main purpose

the shorter Quicksilver variant is made as a lighter semi-auto only version for use as a side arm and is loaded in 15 round standard mags
