A flooded underground in Balme's cave (haute-savoie, France) where my brother and i had to walk into water which was higher than the knee level ! However we had those tall fishing boots so we didn't get wet at all.

talk about years of erosion in limestone and bedrock to carve that out. water is amazing when it comes to carving out stuff underground and above ground.

A lot of years indeed. Those caves were already existing hundred of years ago !
