This is another in a series of follow-up drawings, inspired by images I saw on real store-bought greeting cards. (For example, my last submission - "Two Fat Reindeer" - was based on a cartoonist's rendering of a pair of rotund ruminants who offered a very skinny Santa some milk and cookies, but were turned down by him. My follow-up drawing had one reindeer saying to the other, "Great! That means more for us!")
Once again, I came across a Christmas card depicting a pair of polar bears eyeing some flying reindeer from the North Pole Flight School - with one bear saying to the other, "All we have to do is wait for them to land, and we'll eat like kings!" Needless to say, the follow-up illo was just begging to be drawn. (And, like "Two Fat Reindeer", the coloring for this image involved the usage of marker pens, instead of my colored pencils and/or computer enhancement.)
