After 35 hours of hand sewing and carving I have completed them. No glue used so it is machine washable. Lined with jersey on inside. 4x to 8x thread sewn for strength and hidden stitching through padding.
I actually had to fashion a leather finger guard to protect my hands from the thousands of needle pricks. Unpleasant to make but worth the end result.
