Well, even though I am 37 and have been drawing since I was about 10, I haven't really had much formal art training. I should have pursued an art education in college, and now I fear it may be too late to improve. I hope it's not. I am trying to improve, and I plan to take full advantage of DeviantArt's many tutorials to get where I want to be. In fact, earlier today I bought a sketchbook just to copy tutorials in.

You don't have to, most artists are self taught.
But it's never too late, you see people in old age going to college to get a degree in something because they want to.

I have been teaching myself for years, and maybe I should keep teaching myself. That may be the right thing for me.
