My, my! This still looks superpoofy and fun, Schrödi! Thankies still for the surprise from back then. I hope you might not mind me blabbering a little like the usual waterfall. I don't know where you, Aleph and Hzel chat so I leave my regards after all that while here. Silly Slowpoke of a cartoon enjoying Human being typing, hehe. <X3
You have a supernice way of emphasizing the typical cartoon physics in your works. iNo matter if it's in regards of ideas and concepts or their execution. I am always impressed when cartoonists like you are creating illustrations that not only give motifs a lot of color but also that great expressive mood.
Inflation for example is something I got used to enjoy a lot in the notion of how fantastic it is as a concept like taken right out of the "Alice in Wonderland" concept of growth in a story. It happens in a surprise and so easily., gives characters a toyish physique and emphasizes the energetic nature of the characters involved.
Additionally, you also get so many various approaches on the subject. That's because in cartoons basically anything silly and over the top aka wacky can happen. I love that it pretty much leaves one with endless oppurtunities for different transformative situations.
Of course such visualizations are also based of the person's style and talent, their taste and the mood they wanna set. I find it nice when you seem a bit random with things here and there, giving yourself times where you just wanna create some simple jolly suited situation and sometimes get a bit more into the territory of blowing off steam with the literal cartoon hammer, anvil and other tools of leaving an impression.
That said, let me go over what I find makes this artwork really neat.
Shiny himself is known for being that happy-go-lucky kiddo in town who loves to share balloons and bigness both. You practically read through all of that perfectly with how you built a scene around that.
He's all blimpy and looks like he's curious on hw big his dude is wanna pump him here. That expression that you gave Shiny is that of somebody of a quite positve nature.
Taking his shape into context with his nature of being a Pokémon, something that you must be familiar with enough from drawing Aleph's Riolubuddy now and then, the motive in general gives me a vibe of how a Snorlax in Pokémon does tend to block roads. It also plays into the silly and funloving nature of Toons who simply do what they feel like.
Schrödi is pumping away with his tongue sheepishly hanging out, looking as if he's happily at his work to make either a big bouncy-Pokémon, a parade float or a combination of both out of Shiny. The usual routine, hehe. X3
Additionally, the perspective and background, aside from the two characters present, give all a great sense of dimension and size. Shiny is several stories large, his size practically filling out the space between the buildings across a whole street. There is no space for vehicles or for pedestrians there. Plus, for people to have taken in consideration, Shiny usually is smaller than the average person, so seeing his feetpaws alone being about three times of the Cartoonwolf is pretty imporsing.
In regards of it all, your painting of it all is just really pretty. Very colorful like the typical Toontown befitting the friendly characters inhabiting it. Shiny's body receiving neat marks, rounded body features and an even shinier texture to his hide. That all alongside the neat cartoon effects of bulging hoses, action lines to represent movements and air somewhat poofing from various spots (like even Shiny's earbones) and the impression you get from taking the scene in, makes it all a blast to watch.
And in terms of ideas, I get plenty from such happy scenes. From Schrödi just pumping away until buildings get shifted about like pieces in a board game to Shiny floating about and Schrödi suddenly getting accompanied to a parade ensemble of people for some random festival being held to the fancy of the people around the city. The ideas are all quite jolly as the mood I get from your artpiece.
So to not get too long, let me close with that I am very happy about the honor of seeing Shiny drawn wtogether with your character still and I hope you always keep on getting joy out of your cartoons, comics and other projects. Whenever you like to talk, I'm always happy to listen to what things have been inspiring to you. I cheer for you and will keep such arts treasured. ^_^

Oh, my! Well, I'm still happy that it means something to you and I'd be still happy to be there for you if you#d enjoy yet another silly toony dude in the community. I always enjoy chatting about cartoons, anime, games and anything that seems like fun. And you know me as well as Shiny, we definitely don't bite. Promised, hehe. (~.=.o)
