As you can see, My sweet Fiohs just recently had to be put down cause of a number of reasons. My two rats, my beautiful wonderful little ratlings are no more... This is the one of the saddest times I have been through since the loss of another pet long ago.

Hazel my dear passed away very suddenly. I checked on him right after work, then less then 2 hours later he... he was layed out on the bottom of his cage... he was buried in his favorite hammock.

Fiohs .... he was old, hard severe arthritis in his back legs to the point where he wobbled more then walked. One day I noticed a small lump on the side of his neck... by that night it was the size of a large bean... within the coming weeks it grew and grew till it was obvious that he was hurting him to eat and drink... and his movements were even more slowed... he was put down just a few days ago and it still hurts to think about
