Wow. This took everything I had! But I couldn't just let such a momentous event go unheard. This is my contribution to the end of Homestuck. I am very emotional about it. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone I have met thanks to Homestuck. All the laughs, tears, blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into the comic has made my life worthwhile many times over. Thank you for everything that you have done for me and for so many other people. I will continue to love you forever!

Yeeeees! It is! I AM SO NOT READY. After 7 years. I am just not ready to say goodbye to any of the characters I love. But that's okay! You have A LOT to read if that is where you are. Act 2, I mean. Unless you mean AO2A6A6 or something. Not TOO much then. XP Either way, I am really. Sad that it is ending. I had to do this. My hand hurts wicked.
I don't think the fandom is going to die for a really long time. We have certainly all been going out with a bang! Internet parties every day since it was announced. It woke pretty much everyone up. I've always been in the fandom since I started reading, though. My horrible trash obsession has never eased up. I know that feeling though. It has done many amazing things and the part I am sad about is saying goodbye. To new adventures and to all those characters that I have come to know and love. It is very difficult. I am very stupidly emotional. It has done a lot to me, even saved my life a few times. I am grateful for having it in my life.
It sounds so silly but it's one of those one things to me. I'm sentimental trash right now, help me.
But yeah, there will be a lot of buzz after it ends. For a long time. I don't think you have much to worry about for a while. Homestucks are pretty loud at the moment!

Hiveswap is definitely coming. It might be early next year or late this year, but it is back on a strong track. There was also a recent announcement of collaborators and Andrew himself talking about 'Homestuck 2.0'. The quote was 'bringing Homestuck to Hollywood in a small way'. That is all we know about it right now!
There is still a lot to look forward to. Hussie himself has said several times that 'Homestuck was just a warm-up to my next project, just like Problem Sleuth was a warm-up for Homestuck'. That was a while ago and it is unsure if it remains true since I am sure he is way busy and more than a little burned out after 7 years, but hey, at least it's news!
Regardless, there will always be a ton of fans. We've always been loud and even if I am the last person standing, I will always love it. Always. c:

Yes! Many things to come. The comic ended tonight and I cried my face off. I am satisfied, though Andrew has also stated that he has planned an Epilogue, so I am very happy that there might be one last little farewell to wrap things up! I am definitely pumped. And you know, I don't think these characters will ever be forgotten. They have left too much of an impact on everyone's life. c: As for the Hollywood part, I won't spoil anything, but I would think it would be an animated short or something of the like. The end of Homestuck, Act 7, was fully animated, in fact. It looked very much like the Anime the fandom always joked about. Top quality. If you ever decide to catch up, I don't think you will be disappointed!
My favorite character by far and FOREVER is Eridan Ampora.

I would love that. Honestly, the ending turned out so well in that style that I would love to see more. Apparently it took over a year to produce and it was 10 minutes long. That is just with one animator, I believe, so it makes sense. Some of the story boards go back 4 years ago. It's been a long time coming!
Ah, I remember Octopimp! Some of the dubbed comics are still so funny! I like Eridan just on the whole. I could talk about him for hours like the nerdy trash I am. XP
I am not much into Anime any more. Not Free!, for sure. But I am glad to hear that he is still kicking around and doing those things, because they were always awesome.
