If you want to try doing more cutesy or more comical stuff the thing I kept on reading in all those books I have is exaggerate. Like your fighter, the bald guy in the front, try making him a little more broader across or something. Also, chain mail. I only say that though because I think your chain mail is freakin awesome looking.

Then again I also have mixed feelings about that last comment. These characters do make me think of Final Fantasy 9. I like them though, I think you did a good job.
