This song is a lot harder than it sounds, simply because there is very little time to catch a breath of air between verses and choruses. The only relief that comes is in the form of a guitar solo, where I use that time to take in as much lung power as I possibly can. It's none other than Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Give It Away", and I'm giving it all I got up there on the stage. This song was recorded live at Whisky Dicks on December 30, 2008.

Yeah, it depends where I sing and it varies from place to place. Some places sound a lot better from my camera (since I take video when I go to sing) but I really should try it out on my mini recorder and have a friend record me from further out. Some of these places are pretty close-knit so you get a lot of background chatter and feedback. Thanks for the voice compliment though. I've been thinking of doing some of these songs as studio covers sometime.
