Actually feline types are known as Ailuranthropes. Lycans are specifically werewolves. Still that is amazing.

I heard that both words came from ancient Greece times. Lycan means wolf, and Ailuros is Greek for cat. So why call it a Lycan when it's not any wolf I've seen.

Simply because lycanthropy has become synonymous with the anything relating to being a "werewolf", although the 'were' originally translated as "man," meaning the nomenclature from Sonic's latest abomination of a game is completely wrong.

Yesterday I was watching Brainiac and they were testing if catnip works on the big cats to. On tigers it didn't work. But on lions. Oh boy did it work! They went nuts for it.

He looks fantastic, Mapper! Very nicely done. The only thing that bugs me is his grip on the sword & shield--looks like his fingers are just loose on the handles. Granted, if he were to tighten his fist too much, those claws would start tearing through his palms... Guess I'm just wondering how he keeps a good grip on the sword & shield.

Nice image, but if I were to go up against him, I'd be taking his knees out in about 3 seconds.

You really need to have them capped from above rather than exposed like that. That's a VERY bad armor design. :(

True, but still a gaping hole. You'd be better off extending the thigh armor and/or adding an articulated shell at the end. Since the knee flexes in a very limited/known direction, an articulated knee covering would work well with that armor.

This reminds me of something right out of the "Human-Kazin" waes series of stories published in the late 1980s. Of course the K'Zinti had little bat-wing type ears, but this character looks pretty formidable as he is.
