Very true. I have some unicorn characters, and I don't often see other people who have them.

The unicorns in the background are young mares. I always imagine female unicorns to have very slender deer-like bodies while the males are a lot sturdier.

So, basically, two guys fighting over two girls.

I find it interesting that both males are the same colour as the two fillies and a picture paints a thousand words, so will roll with this and pretend their dads are teaching the ladies the art of horn battling. Lol

Unicorns, traditionally, are super aggressive and will totally kick your a$$ assuming you're not a little girl. There's a part of the original story of the Brave Little Tailor where he's asked to corral a unicorn that has already KILLED SEVERAL KNIGHTS, and there's some gnarly art from the middle ages of unicorns STOMPING AND GORING people who try and catch it. Unicorns in heraldry were usually only given to fearless warriors who valiantly and ferociously charge into battle, and the unicorn is the national symbol of Scotland: a country known for its tenacity and bloody history. Nowadays, unicorns are normally associated with rainbows, pastel colors and other super-girly things, and that's alright, but I like how you were able to capture some of their ferocity in this picture, and still kept them modern-looking and cuddly. Great work!
