Well this was quite happy landing this what follow might be not but oh well.

so what's up with the grays AND the screentones? I can't quite figure it out.

I have no idea what I'm doing yet, to be honest. Trying to figure out CSP as I go, should I switch to just tones?

I would do whatever you wanted to do.

In the scans you see, though, it seems that it's just a very fine tone. If you look at like mizo ne's stuff

And zoom in, there's no grays here. It's just really high res, with very small tone dots smooshed together. Some things get fatter tone dots off for style.

I personally just use tones, but if everyone who views your comic are going to see it in a browser window, how you accomplish it doesn't matter as long as you think it looks good :3
